Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 January 2025

Please read these terms carefully before using FlightsAway. By searching for or enquiring about flights through our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About FlightsAway

FlightsAway ("we", "us", "our") is a flight search and booking enquiry service operating at flightsaway.co.uk. We present flight options sourced from third-party data providers and facilitate bookings through our telephone sales team.

We are not an airline, and we do not operate aircraft. All flights displayed are operated by independent airlines.

2. Nature of our service

FlightsAway is a quote and enquiry service. Using our website to search for flights and receiving a booking reference does not constitute a confirmed booking or a contract of carriage.

A booking is only confirmed when:

Quotes are indicative and held for a maximum of 30 minutes. Prices may change before a booking is confirmed.

3. Pricing and service fees

Prices displayed on our website include a FlightsAway service fee in addition to the base fare and applicable taxes and charges. This service fee covers the cost of our telephone booking service and customer support.

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of all taxes and fees unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a pricing error is discovered after you have spoken with an advisor, we will notify you promptly and you will have the option to confirm at the correct price or cancel without charge.

4. Booking process

To complete a booking through FlightsAway, you must:

You are responsible for ensuring all passenger names, dates and travel documents are correct before confirming your booking.

5. Cancellations and amendments

Cancellation and amendment policies vary by airline and fare type. These will be clearly communicated to you by your advisor before payment is taken.

FlightsAway's service fee is non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed, except where required by law.

In the event of a flight cancellation by the airline, your rights are governed by UK261/2004 (retained EU law) where applicable, and by the airline's own conditions of carriage.

6. Passports, visas and travel documents

It is your sole responsibility to ensure you hold a valid passport, visa, and all other required travel documents for your destination and any transit countries. FlightsAway accepts no liability for denied boarding or entry resulting from inadequate documentation.

We recommend checking entry requirements with the relevant embassy or the UK Government's official travel advice at gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice.

7. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that all customers purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical expenses, baggage loss and other risks before travel. FlightsAway does not provide travel insurance.

8. Liability

FlightsAway acts as an intermediary between you and the airline. We accept no liability for:

Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to FlightsAway for that booking.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Website use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not attempt to access any part of our systems not intended for public use, including but not limited to the advisor portal.

We reserve the right to restrict access to our website at any time without notice.
